<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a cell-engineering block-like support used as a substitute for biotissue, having superior morphological stability, allowing a user to seed and/or culture cells in its interior and consisting of a bioabsorbable polymer material having a wide void. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet-like bioabsorbable polymer material with the thickness of 0.01-1 mm is brought together irregularly, put in a mold and pressurized and heated to produce this cell-engineering block-like cell support having a continuous amorphous void occupying 10-90% in porosity. Preferably, the sheet-like bioabsorbable polymer material has pores of 5-100 μm produced by dissolving the bioabsorbable polymer material in organic solvent, and freeze-drying it, or pores with the diameter of 0.1-3 mm is formed on the sheet-like bioabsorbable polymer material produced by dissolving the bioabsorbable polymer material in the organic solvent and drying it. It is preferable to use the oblong sheet-like bioabsorbable polymer material with the length of 5-50 mm, the width of 0.1-20 mm and the thickness of 0.01-1 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
