<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver and broadcast transmitter, for reducing power consumption, when there is fire. <P>SOLUTION: The television receiver is provided with: a broadcast wave receiving means 13 for receiving broadcasting means for detecting a warning signal, reporting an emergency warning broadcast, contained in the broadcast wave received by the broadcast wave receiving means 13; a power supply means 32 for supplying power to a display with the detection of the warning signal due to a signal-detecting means 12; a display means 24 for displaying the emergency warning broadcast on the display by the signal-detecting means 12, to which the power is supplied by the power supplying means, when the warning signal is detected by the signal detecting means 12; and a network communication means 35 which transmits a command for powering-off to an external device, over a network with the detection of the warning signal due to the signal detecting means 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
