<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric door latch device prevented from being changed over to a door opening allowable state by an improper operation in a normal state and allowed to be easily changed over manually to a door opening allowable state when the device cannot be electrically driven. <P>SOLUTION: This electric door latch device 20 is so formed that a manual rotating part 40 is disposed inside a door 10, and a tool fitting hole 43B of a noncircular shape in cross section is formed in the surface of the manual rotating part 40 which is opposed to a door trim 19. When a key plate 90 is fitted to the tool fitting hole 43B through a first operation hole 15 extending through the door trim 19, the manual rotating part 40 can be rotated. Consequently, the electric door latch device can be easily changed over manually to the door opening allowable state when the device cannot be electrically driven, and can be surely prevented from being changed over to the door opening allowable state by an improper operation in a normal state by removing the key plate 90. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
