PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the number of part items and cost increase in a structure conventionally used for preventing deformation of a soundproof plate due to falling of a compressor when transporting an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, in which a bar is projected from an upper part of the compressor and is received by a bar receiving tool extended from the soundproof plate. SOLUTION: A shock absorbing material 1, which is installed on a side surface of the compressor 10 and melts when given a heat quantity of a predetermined calorific value, functions as a shock absorbing material for the compressor 10 during transport and then, when the outdoor unit is installed and the compressor 10 starts operation, produces a sufficient clearance to the soundproof plate 4, allowing the compressor 10 to normally operate without contacting the soundproof plate 4 and contributing to cost reduction without risk of generating an unpleasant sound.
