<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight supporting structure for a saddle ride type vehicle, for allowing easy mounting of a headlight on a bar handle. <P>SOLUTION: In the headlight supporting structure for the saddle ride type vehicle, a supporting member 102 has a fixed portion 116 fixed to a bracket 140 of the bar handle 57, a first held portion 130 covering the bar handle 57 at its upper side, and a second held portion 132 covering the bar handle 57 at its front side, and it is fixed to the bracket 140 of the bar handle 57 via the fixed portion 116 and supported on the bar handle 57 by holding the first held portion 130 and the second held portion 132 on the bar handle 57 at spaces 136, 138, respectively.
