PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard information device capable of presenting the optimum operation environment in accordance with the conditions of an operator. SOLUTION: The onboard information device 100 that is a device displaying various kinds of requested information on a prescribed display screen includes: a holding means 15 storing and holding in a prescribed storage area a plurality of software components achieving HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) including the first software component achieving the HMI allowing an operator to perform detailed operations and the second software component achieving the HMI assisting the operations of the operator; a determination means 31 determining whether or not the operator can perform the detailed operations; and a switching means 32 executing one of the plurality of software components achieving the HMIs held by the holding means 15 on the basis of the determination result by the determination means 31 and switching an input pattern of the HMI.
