PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a measurement device so as to measure the correct distance between the device of this kind and subjects even in a far distant region relating to distance measurement from obstructions using an optical triangular measurement system. SOLUTION: A dust collector for a floor (1) capable of autonomously running includes: electric motor driven running rollers (3); a device cabinet; a dust container; and a device cover (6). Therein, the dust collector for the floor (1) is provided with an obstruction detection unit, which is a triangular measurement system (T) including: light sources (10, 10'); a light receptor unit (E) provided with light reception lens (12) like optical elements for reflected light; and an optical detector element (11). For solving the problem, the assignment is controlled so as to enlarge the displacement of the light beams incident on the light detection element (11) after the light beam being collimated by the light reception lens (12) in the light reception unit (E), corresponding to the actual distances to the obstructions (13, 13').
