<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finish-processed ornament prevented from being corroded over a long time (excellent in corrosion resistance), and having a golden color tone, a high hardness and scratch resistance, and its manufacturing process. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ornament comprises an ornament base material, a first nitride layer coated on the ornament base material, a second nitride layer coated on the first nitride layer and a golden colored outermost coating film consisting of gold or an alloy of gold, having a golden color tone and coated on the second nitride layer. Further, the ornament base material is made of SUS317L material (stainess steel) obtained in accordance with JIS G 4303 specification, and part of the base material is finish-processed. The first nitride layer contains nitride of at least one element selected from the group of hafnium (Hf), titanium (Ti) and zirconium (Zr), and has a film thickness of 0.3-2.0 μm. The second nitride layer contains nitride of at leasit one element different from the element contained in the first nitride layer and selected from the group of hafnium (Hf), titanium (Ti) and zirconium (Zr).
