<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which attains miniaturization and improvement of conveyance accuracy with no cost increase incurred, and can carry out good printing by smoothly and highly accurately conveying an object to be printed while preventing contact of the object to a printing head and jamming. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 1 is equipped with a conveyance mechanism 70 which conveys sheets of papers P one by one, and an inkjet head 22 which ejects the ink to the paper P conveyed by the conveyance mechanism 70. The conveyance mechanism 70 is equipped with a plurality of conveyance belts 80 arranged along a conveyance direction of the paper P for conveying the paper P, and pressure rollers 85 which press the paper P on the downstream side from the inkjet head 22 in the conveyance direction of the paper P. The pressure rollers 85 are set at a position to press the paper P to a position away from the inkjet head 22 from a conveyance surface of the paper P by the conveyance belts 80 at a width direction side part aside from an opposed position of the conveyance belts 80.
