<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook for a lockstitch sewing machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This hook includes a cupped hook body (24) and a bobbin case (21). This bobbin case (21) is attached in order to rotate around an axis (9) and includes a bottom (33) and a receiving pin (25) which is coaxial with the axis (9). Bobbin receiving equipment (31a) for holding a hook yarn bobbin (26) is arranged on the receiving pin (25) for moving in the direction of the axis (9). Furthermore, a push out spring (34) is arranged between the bottom (33) and the bobbin receiving equipment (31a).
