PURPOSE: A pipe roof and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent the subsidence of ground during construction and to facilitate the installation and reduce construction period. CONSTITUTION: A pipe roof(1) is composed of lots of pipes(100) which are installed along the contour of a structure(5) to be built underground(3). The pipe is made up of unit panels whose cross section is an arc shape. Each unit panel has a coupling projection and a coupling groove on both ends to be connected to other unit panels and adjacent pipes.
