摘要 <p>Disclosed is a volume type information recording medium which can be used commonly by conventional optical disk and optical pickup. A three-dimensional mark recording layer (111v) in a volume type information recording medium (100v) records information by forming a three-dimensional record mark (RM) near the focal point (Fb) of a blue light beam (Lb) depending on a condensed blue light beam (Lb) having a light intensity of a predetermined level or more. In the three-dimensional mark recording layer (111v), the information is reproduced based on a blue light beam (Lbr) reproduced according to the blue light beam (Lb) applied to the recording layer. A servo layer (114v) in the volume type information recording medium (100v) reflects at least a part of red light beam (Lr) having a wavelength different from the wavelength of the blue light beam (Lb) applied in order to align the position of the blue light beam (Lb) on the three-dimensional mark recording layer (111v) with the position of an arbitrary target mark. The servo layer (114v) is provided while spaced apart by about 0.6 (mm), in the direction of the optical axis (Lx) of the red light beam (Lr), from the plane of incidence (100vA) on which the red light beam (Lr) impinges.</p>
