<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating resin composition excellent in high flame retardancy and a high mechanical characteristic required in an insulated electric wire, in particular, low and excellent in a load to molding equipment when extrusion-molded, and free from problems of the elution of a heavy metal compound and a phosphorous compound caused by reclamation in waste disposal, and the generation of a large volume of smoke and corrosive gas caused by incineration, and the insulated electric wire, a cable, an optical fiber code or an optical cable using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: This insulating resin composition includes 50-250 pts.mass metal hydrate, and 2-50 pts.mass phosphazene compound, with respect to 100 pts.mass resin component containing an ethylenic copolymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
