<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a musical score in various forms by setting a display mode for each element such as notes for constituting one part, when the musical score is displayed on a device. <P>SOLUTION: Objects such as the notes for constituting the musical score, rests and lyrics are arranged in a plurality of layers, and a display mode (concentration) can be set for each layer. Moreover, a head, a body and a tail of the note are arranged in separate layers, and only a necessary part is displayed. In an example of a Fig.4(d), a part which a player is going to play is deeply displayed, and only the head of the note is thinly displayed for a part to be referred to.
