<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-on/push-off mechanism in which a loss of a reverse movement prevention effect of a guide pin can be prevented and has an extended service life. <P>SOLUTION: A pin guide composing a push-on/push-off mechanism is mounted upward on a bottom surface of a housing 10. A guide pin 16 is provided downward at a free end side of a spring arm 18a made of an elastic body of which one end side is fixed on a slider 13 and is inserted into the pin guide. The spring arm 18a energizes the guide pin 16 to pressure-contact with the pin guide rising sliding surface of each groove portion on a side of an outward trip guide portion 15A and on a side of a return trip guide portion 15B in a horizontal direction. The outward trip guide portion 15A is provided a guide pin locking portion 19 on this side of an end portion of a slider 13 in a pushing-in direction. At an end portion of the slider in a pushing-in direction, there is provided a return trip side introduction portion 15Ab for introducing the guide pin 16 to a side of the return trip guide portion 15B.
