<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cutoff structure or the like of an outer wall vertical joint enabling the outer wall vertical joint to be in a stable water cutoff state, enabling a water cutoff material to be excellent in weatherability and making its exchange cycle longer, making the water cutoff material recyclable, and being friendly to the environment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first metal water cutoff plate 8a mounted at one opposite surface 7a and extended toward the other opposite surface 7b with the space in the joint interposed therebetween and a second metal water cutoff plate 9a mounted at the other opposite surface and extended toward the one opposite surface are overlappingly arranged to dispose the first metal plate 8a at the outdoor side and the second metal plate 9a at the indoor side. The first metal plate 8a at the outdoor side is arranged to be exposed to the outdoors.
