PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment control method for performing many controls to equipment by gestures. SOLUTION: The equipment control method includes the following process: a control part 35 detects a periodic motion of a gesture captured by an imaging part 20b; and the control part 35 further detects a direction of the periodic motion.
