<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier that continuously supplies humidified air without causing dew condensation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The humidifier 100 includes a first layer 10 having a first north air passage 10a and a first south air passage 10b, a rotatable upper air passage switching damper 50 including a pair of opposed upper opening parts 50a, 50b, a second layer 20 including a second west air passage 20a and a second east air passage 20b, a moisture adsorbing means 2 including a west moisture adsorbing means 2a and an east moisture adsorbing means 2b carrying an adsorbent, a third layer 30 including a third west air passage 30a and a third east air passage 30b, a rotatable lower air passage switching damper 60 including a pair of opposed lower opening parts 60a, 60b, and a fourth layer 40 having a fourth north air passage 40a and a fourth south air passage 40b, that are layered. The upper and lower air passage switching dampers 50, 60 are intermittently rotated to perform adsorption/desorption and regeneration so that the phases of the upper and lower opening parts 50a, 60a are deviated by 90°.
