摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use power of an auxiliary battery when a main battery fails. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A power source system 230 of the brake control device generates braking force by driving a pressure increasing valve 40, a pressure reducing valve 42, a solenoid opening/closing valve 22 and a motor 32 by using the main battery 212. The power source system 230 is provided with: a capacitor 220 separate from the main battery 212; a monitoring circuit 222 for detecting that the main battery 212 fails; a switching circuit 224 for switching the power source of the pressure increasing valve 40, the pressure reducing valve 42, the solenoid opening/closing valve 22 and the motor 32 to the capacitor 220 when the main battery 212 fails; and a brake ECU 200 for distributing excessive power of the capacitor 220 to the motor 32 after securing power for driving a solenoid valve for driving the pressure increasing valve 40, the pressure reducing valve 42 and the solenoid opening/closing valve 22.
