<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the rectilinearity of a vehicle even in such a road surface condition that left and right suspension devices stroke in opposite phases. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The strut type suspension device 10 includes: a knuckle 12 supporting a wheel, a shock absorber 25 disposed between the knuckle 12 and a vehicle body to damp the oscillations of a lower arm 30, a stabilizer bar 51 to suppress the rolling of the vehicle body, and a stabilizer link 53 connecting a shell casing 25a of the shock absorber and an end portion of a stabilizer bar 51. A stabilizer link 53 is disposed so that, when the shock absorbers 25 for the left and right wheels stroke in mutually opposite directions, a moment generated around a kingpin axis due to a wheel weight and a moment generated around the kingpin axis due to a stabilizer link reaction force balance out.
