<p>The method involves receiving sample light counting rates for multiple pixels by a photon-counting detector (31) e.g. avalanche photodiode, under optical over-sampling. A pixel is identified with a counting rate not equal to zero, where the pixel exhibits two adjacent empty pixels as intoxication pixels with a counting rate of zero. The counting rate of the intoxication pixels is equated to zero, where the intoxication pixels lie in a rapid scanning direction of a laser-scanning-microscope (1). An independent claim is also included for a computer program comprising a set of instructions for performing a method for controlling a laser-scanning microscope.</p> |
