OIL PATH STRUCTURE

An oil path structure adapted such that oil flows between first and second joined members joined together with a gasket therebetween and is distributed from an upstream oil path formed in the first joined member to first and second downstream paths formed in at least the second joined member out of the first and second joined members. A first joint surface (61) has a first oil groove (68) to which the upstream oil path (46) is open. A second joint surface (62) has a second oil groove (69) at least a part of which is faced to the first oil groove (68). A communication hole (70) for interconnecting the first and second oil grooves (68, 69) is formed in the gasket (28) such that, with respect to the direction of oil flow from the upstream oil path (46) toward first and second downstream oil paths (55, 80), the downstream end (70a), in the direction of the oil flow, of the communication hole (70) is positioned upstream of the first downstream oil path (55). The construction has an improved degree of layout freedom and can equally distribute oil to the two downstream oil paths.
