PURPOSE: An insert rubber composition for reinforcing the sidewall of run-flat tire is provided to improve modulus and tear strength characteristic of the rubber. CONSTITUTION: An insert rubber composition for reinforcing the sidewall of run-flat tire comprises denaturated carbon black 30~60 parts by weight, silicate 5~20 parts by weight, and reinforcing filler 5~20 parts by weight based on a base rubber 100 parts by weight. The denaturated carbon black is such that the surface of carbon black is nitrogen plasma-treated, wherein the carbon black has iodine adsorption 50~60mg/g, nitrogen adsorption surface area 55~65m^2/g, and DBP oil absorption 128~138cc/100g. |
