<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system having an endoscope capable of easily removing a treatment device for the endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: A rack 66, a pinion 72, and a rack 91b are cooperatively engaged to an insertion and detachment part 61 inserted and detached toward an insertion opening 40, and then a pulley stand 91 and a pulley 92 in a fitting section 90 are moved along with the insertion direction of an endoscope 2.
