POWER SUPPLY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply power to a loading unit by adjusting the output current of each power unit while keeping a supply voltage to the loading unit constant in parallel operation of multiple power units even if a load current and the supply capacity of the power unit are changed.

SOLUTION: Multiple power units 4, 4... to be operated in parallel to supply direct-current power to a direct-current unit 102 comprises one first power unit 4a and multiple second power units 4b to 4d. The output voltage of the first power unit 4a is a direct-current voltage which is constant regardless of the magnitude of an output current. The output voltage of the second power units 4b to 4d is a direct-current voltage which monotonously decreases as the output current increases. The second power units 4b to 4d shift an output current-output voltage characteristic showing a relation between the output current and the output voltage so as to keep the output voltage from the second power units 4b to 4d constant by an adjusting means during supplying the power to the direct-current unit 102.
