<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reserve, set and re-compute an optimal path while taking network resources into account, by accepting a path reservation from a user who desires a network path conditioned in quality. <P>SOLUTION: A network management system includes: a user interface unit for receiving reservation base information containing a reservation band and a line use starting/ending time from a user who utilizes a network; a network database with time base information for acquiring network resource information from the network management system and storing the network resource information deployed in a time base direction; a path calculation engine unit which refers to the database to calculate an optimal path meeting the reservation base information; a scheduling unit which generates a network topology constituted of the optimal path and reflects the database with the optimal path and the reservation base information; and a provisioning unit which implements provisioning, based on the optimal path and the reservation base information, onto the network management system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
