<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-based green ink composition for inkjet recording excellent in print quality, printing stability, print dryability and storage stability of the ink, and an oil-based ink set for inkjet recording capable of extending a color reproduction gamut represented by yellow and cyan. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-based green ink composition for inkjet recording contains C.I. Pigment Green 58 comprising a (poly)halogenated zinc phthalocyanine as an organic green pigment colorant.
