PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel inexpensive pyrazolotriazole azomethine derivative excellent in lightfastness.

SOLUTION: The pyrazolotriazole azomethine derivative is represented by the following formula (I). In the formula, R1is an alkyl group or an aryl group, R2is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocycle group, an alkoxy group, a carbonyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a cyano group, a carbamoyl group, an aryl amine group, an aryl nitro group, or an aryl amide group, R3is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and Y1-Y4are each independently a nitrogen atom or a carbon atom having a substituted CH or R3while at least one of Y1-Y4is a nitrogen atom.
