<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foil transfer method which can facilitate precise transfer of foil and has satisfactory adhesiveness between the foil and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The method of transferring the foil to the recording medium like an image comprises: a process (a) of ejecting liquid which includes a compound having at least radically polymerizable group as active energy-ray polymerizable compound to the recording medium; a process (b) of irradiating the elected liquid with active energy rays to perform first curing and, thereby, forming an image of adhesive having adhesiveness on the recording medium; a process (c) of transferring foil to the formed image of the adhesive; and a process (d) of applying the active energy rays from above the transferred foil to perform second curing and, thereby, further crosslinking the adhesive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
