<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a safety operation environment at low motive force cost, by preventing bedewing in a cooling apparatus for cooling the heat from an electronic device, such as, computer or server. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling system 10 for an electronic device comprises a server room 14A wherein a server 28 is disposed; an evaporator 34, provided in the proximity to the server 28, for cooling the server 28, by atomizing a cooling medium with the heat generated from the server 28; and a cooling tower 38 for cooling the cooling medium to be supplied to the evaporator 34, while external air temperature is utilized. The cooling system further comprises: a temperature sensor 80 for measuring an external air wet-bulb temperature; and a first controller 86 for controlling a condensation temperature of the cooling medium in the cooling tower 38 so as to maintain the cooling medium temperature at the entrance of the evaporator 34, at a predetermined temperature which is higher than the dew-point temperature, based on a measurement result in the temperature sensor 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
