<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a main shaft, to reduce an eccentricity amount in an eccentric cam, and also to reduce a load on the eccentric cam. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The eccentric cam 17 is fixed to the main shaft 6 rotated by a sewing machine motor 7, and the sliding contact engagement part 21 of a rocking body 20 is fitted onto the outer peripheral surface of the eccentric cam 17. In a rocking link 25, the base end is rotatably pivoted by a pivot shaft 26 on a sewing machine frame, and the front end is rotatably connected to a first connection part 22 of the rocking body 20 by a first connection shaft 27. The upper end of a crank rod 30 is rotatably connected to a second connection part 23 of the rocking body 20 by a second connection shaft 31. When the eccentric cam 17 is rotated, the rocking body 20 is rocked around the eccentric cam 17, and the crank rod 30 is vertically rocked.
