摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine capable of easily regulating engine torque characteristics. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A governor lever 2 has a reverse Angleich lever 52. The reverse Angleich lever 52 is interlockingly connected to a fuel metering rack 8 and is biased by a reverse Angleich spring 53. When engine rotation speed decreases to a predetermined negative torque control rotational range 54, the reverse Angleich lever 52 is oscillated by unbalance force between reverse Angleich spring force 53a and governor force 6a. For moving the fuel metering rack 8 to a fuel reduction side according as the engine rotation speed decreases, the reverse Angleich lever 52 and another governor component lever 3 are respectively provided with spring engagement parts 52a, 3a and respective ends of the reverse Angleich spring 53 of a tension spring structure are engaged with the respective spring engagement parts 52a, 3a.
