PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image file management system capable of managing a plurality of image files without requiring an input procedure of an identification number for identifying a computer and without a predetermined authentication procedure. SOLUTION: The image file management system 10A includes a server 11, and a computer 13 for transmitting image files to the server 11 through the Internet 12. The server 11 identifies an artist field and a copyright field as identification information, classifies the image files transmitted from the computer 13 according to the field data using the artist field and the copyright field, and stores the image files in association with the artist field and the copyright field.
