<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attractant comprising aggregation pheromone materials as active ingredients effective for capturing branched clusters and flight clusters of Japanese honeybees (Apis cerana japonica). Ž<P>SOLUTION: The Japanese honeybee attractant includes 3-hydroxyoctanoic acid and at least one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of queen substances or royal jelly substances such as 9-oxo-2-decenoic acid, 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid, 10-hydroxydecanoic acid, 9-hydroxydecenoic acid and methyl p-hydroxybenzoate. Preferably, the attractant in which a mixed weight ratio of 3-hydroxyoctanoic acid to 9-oxo-2-decenoic acid is 1:1-1:0.001 attracts clusters of Japanese honeybees, thereby the branched clusters and the flight clusters can be captured and unstable clusters can be stabilized.
