<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower and an air conditioner provided with the same, thinning a ring member while sufficiently maintaining a circulation flow forming function by the ring member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An annular recessed groove 15 recessed from a surface 8b toward a main plate 2 is formed in the whole surface 8b of the ring member 8 on the side of a front surface plate 1b. Thereby, the ring member 8 is thinned by a part with the annular recessed groove 15 formed, and generation of shrinkage during resin integral molding is suppressed to maintain quality by equalizing the thickness of the ring member 8 and a blade 3. Also, material cost is reduced by a part with thickness reduced and productivity is improved. Meanwhile, since the part of the surface 8b from the inner peripheral edge of the annular recessed groove 15 to the tip outer peripheral portion of each blade 3 is formed into a substantially arcuate surface as a suction guide surface 16, a circulating flow is smoothly led to flow into the blade 3 and a wind speed distribution is improved by the sucking action of the circulating flow although the annular groove 15 is formed in the ring member 8. As a synergetic effect, it is possible to achieve both quality improvement of the blower and promotion of cost reduction thereof, and improvement of aerodynamic performance thereof and reduction of operation noise thereof.
