<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leveling member for a rotary tiller capable of suitably performing a leveling work and a ridging work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The leveling member is provided with an upper side part 18a connected laterally along the rear end part 11c of an upper cover 11 of a rotary tiller 8 and a lower side part 18b positioned at the opposite side of the upper side part 18a. The rotary tiller 8 is provided with a fixing part 12a in a manner positioned under the rear end 11c of the upper part 11, and the lateral middle part of the lower side part 18b is made to be connectable to and disconnectable from the fixing part 12a.
