The bearing (2) has a row of roller bodies (12) distributed on inner periphery (10) of an outer ring (4) for radially bearing a shaft. An elastic damping element (22) such as polygonal hollow profile e.g. spring wire, is supported on the inner periphery of the outer ring and damps oscillations of the shaft to be mounted in the bearing. The damping element is in direct attachment at the shaft or at the inner ring, which is connected with the shaft in a rotationally fixed manner, in a mounting position of the bearing by defined radial tensioning. The polygonal hollow profile is made of plastic material.
