The assembly (22) has a support coupled to a lever body (34). A roller is rotated on the support, and engages a camshaft (24). The roller includes an annular body having two axial ends and an inner bore that receive the support. The inner bore has a groove extending from one of the axial ends to the other axial end. The groove has a portion at the former axial end rotationally offset relative to another portion at the latter axial end, and pumps oil along the inner bore when the roller is rotated by engagement with the camshaft.
