<p>A locking lever bracket fixed to an upper rail and functioning as a lock mechanism for locking the upper rail sliding relative to a lower rail has shaft supporting holes which are separated from each other in the direction of slide of the upper rail and into which an opening rod is inserted. A locking lever has two bearing sections located close to the shaft supporting holes of the locking lever bracket and also has a rotation transmitting groove. The opening rod has a rectilinear shaft section penetrating through each shaft supporting hole and each bearing section and also has a bend engaging with the rotation transmitting groove of the locking lever and pivoting together with the rectilinear shaft section to pivot the locking lever in an unlocking direction. The bearing sections of the locking lever are provided with a pair of plate-like sections separated from each other in a direction in which the opening rod is inserted. The pair of plate-like sections is bent in the directions opposite to each other so as to sandwich the opening rod and forms bearings. The bearings form the bearing sections having a clip shape, and the distance between the bearing sections in the diameter direction is smaller than the diameter of the opening rod.</p>
