The invention relates to a drink preparing machine, including a housing 2 having a front; a drink preparing area 10 bordered by the front 3 on one side, by drink outlets on the top, and by a cup placement tray 8 on the bottom; and a moveable steam nozzle 7 connected to the housing by a movement device. The housing includes a cavity 3c defining a cleaning area 25, wherein a rinsing container 12 is disposed having a top opening 22 and comprising an emptying device 23, and wherein the moveable nozzle is guided through a vertical movement by the movement device such that the lower end 7a thereof penetrates the container 12 through the top opening thereof.
