METASTATIC MARKERS

There is provided a protein or gene expression profile with clinical relevance to cancer metastasis. In particular, there is provided identities of proteins that are correlated with lung cancer metastasis. The protein expression profiles may be used to predict the survival of subjects afflicted with cancer and to predict cancer recurrence. The profiles may also be used in the study and/or diagnosis of cancer cells and tissue, including the grading of invasive lung cancer, as well as for the study and/or determination of prognosis of a patient. When used for diagnosis or prognosis, the profiles are used to determine the treatment of cancer based upon the likelihood of life expectancy and metastasis.
