COMPOSITE WOOD-GLASS STRUCTURAL PANEL AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SAME

The present invention relates to a composite wood-glass construction panel in which these materials simultaneously have a functional, an aesthetic and a structural nature. The panel comprises a wooden substructure [5] and two simple laminated structural panes of glass [7], one on each side of the substructure, wherein bonding is carried out by means of a single-component structural adhesive [8] with semi-stiff behaviour after drying. The substructure consists of multiple parallel wooden boards [1] spaced apart by wooden blocks [2] and attached with threaded steel rods [3]. Should the panel serve as a wall, sliding windows can additionally be included, one on the interior face [6] and the other on the exterior face [14], so as to allow ventilation.
