The method involves reversible attachment of a weight (20) to at least one flange of the rotor hub (14), fitting the rotor hub to the machine bearer, positioning the hub in a predetermined position, replacing the weight with a rotor blade (16) by removing the weight and fitting the blade to the rotor hub. Weights can be fitted to all flanges provided for attachment of rotor blades. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: the use of a weight as a balance weight for reversible attachment to a rotor hub of a wind power system, a balance weight and a wind power system. |
