The method involves elaborating a braking control, and applying the breaking control to a braking unit. The breaking control is adapted by control logic of an airplane by acquisition of an attitude of the airplane calculated positively to pitch-up and modification of the braking control based on the attitude of the airplane into another braking control. The modification of the braking control is not achieved when a difference between the attitude and a minimum attitude is greater than a predetermined threshold difference.
