The device (2) has a tubular sectioned exhaust gas pipe (11) for conveying exhaust gas along a direction parallel to a symmetrical axis (delta), towards a hemispherical body (20) at the interior of the pipe. The body is closed by a flat cylindrical surface (200) and pivotingly mounted in a manner that the surface takes an obturation position that is perpendicular to the axis, and two positions that are co-linear to the axis. A partition (21) is arranged in upstream of the body and separates the pipe into two tubular sectioned outlet pipes (12, 13) along the axis.
