The invention consists of a photo cage of metal frame (1) of dimensions (73cm x 62cm x 60cm) the lateral walls of which are closed by a non transparent paper material for better homogenization of lighting. The photo cage comprises: Four OSRAM L18W/965 1000 1m fluorescent lamps (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) in order to have radiation of continuous wave length, placed on a height of 37cm over the lower horizontal surface in which the intensity of lighting ranges from 50 to 54 Lux. The digital camera Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 of image reception (2), (at a height of 46cm over the geometrical center of the lower horizontal surface adjusted to a special base with settings concerning the speed of the shutter in 1/100 sec, the lighting of the lens f.5, the quality of the image High Quality, dimensions 640x480 pixel, horizontal and vertical analysis of 72dpi, zero zoom, deactivated flash. The display of the color of the received digital images from the camera is performed by the color system sRGB whereas the background (paper of 100gr of dimensions of 50cm x 50cm) (3) is selected by color parameters that are different than the samples to be assessed that are placed on it. The determination method of the color parameters L*, a* and b* of vegetal organs comprises four main phases: i) Activation of the lighting lamps ii) Placement of the vegetal organs in the interior of the photo cage on the background of default contrast color iii) Reception of images from the digital camera (2) that has been set suitably iv) Transfer of images in a wired mode (4) to a computer (5) for analysis and production of the colorimetric parameters of the vegetal organs to be examined.By the same device and method the determination of the color parameters L*, a*, b* of any organ the size of which allows its application is possible. |
