摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for a secondary battery case having excellent strength, pressure resistance and stress relaxation resistance even if a sheet thickness is reduced, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy sheet is produced by subjecting aluminum alloy comprising, by mass, 0.4 to 1.5% Mn, >1.0 to 4.0% Cu, 0.2 to 1.2% Mg, 0.05 to 0.50% Si, 0.05 to 0.60% Fe, Zn with the content regulated to≤0.10%, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities to melting and casting to be an ingot, subjecting this ingot to soaking treatment at 480°C to less than the melting point, subsequently subjecting the same to hot rolling and cold rolling to be a rolled sheet, heating this rolled sheet at a rate of≥100°C/min, subjecting the same to process annealing at 420°C to less than the melting point for 0 to 180 s, then the process-annealed sheet is cooled at a rate of 300°C/min or more, and is subjected to final cold rolling at a draft of 20 to 50%.
