PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autofocus system that can appropriately display on a view finder by displaying a face frame or a title on a recognized face on a screen of the view finder on which a shot video is being displayed at present when a face of a specific person (individual) or object in the taken image is recognized so that the specific person or object can be automatically tracked as a target of AF. SOLUTION: When a face recognition auto-tracking mode is selected, the face frame is displayed on the face image of a person included in the shot video on the view finder 18. The title is displayed on the face image of the preregistered specific person.
