<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam welding apparatus that can perform laser beam welding with a lead wire held so that the tip end of the lead wire is undeviated from a position on a terminal. <P>SOLUTION: This is a laser beam welding apparatus 10 that welds by laser a lead wire to a terminal installed in an object to be welded. The apparatus includes a first holding member 12 that is placed on a surface on which the terminal of the object to be welded is provided and that has a guide part installed which, recessed in U shape viewed from above, guides the tip end of the lead wire onto the terminal, and a second holding member 15 that holds the lead wire, with the tip end of the lead wire introduced in the guide part.
