<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable or decomposable container of stove top type whose fixed shape can be maintained when it is used and which can be folded into a small size when it is stored. <P>SOLUTION: The container of stove top type has a rigid uppermost part 84 and a bottom part 80 which are separated by a flexible intermediate part 82. The flexible intermediate part 82 has a thin wall part which constitutes a previously determined bending part. The flexible intermediate part 82 is regularly decomposed toward the bottom part 80 by a pressure applied to the uppermost part 84. When the intermediate part 82 is decomposed, it is folded at each of predetermined bending parts. One or more folded parts or pleats are formed in the intermediate part 82.
